In the affordable price, the company launched the smartphones with new and improved features and attracted customers. But now it seems that Xiaomi is not doing anything new and the Redmi 6 series can be called the latest example. The company launched Redmi 6, Radmi 6A and Radmi 6 Pro smartphones this month in the country. Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is the most expensive phone in all three and its price starts at Rs. 10,999.

Redmi 6 Pro Full Review: How is this smartphone in budget price ?

At the launch, the company had told that the xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro was designed to be a power user. Speaking of specifications, we did not find anything new in the (redmi 6 pro) device. We used this smartphone for a while and reviewed it. Know what are the features and drawbacks in the phone ...

How is this smartphone in budget price ?

Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro design

Talk about build quality, Xiaomi has always worked better and there is something similar with the Redmi 6 Pro. The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design. The phone is a little heavy and looks like a little too much like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The Xiaomi 6 Pro is a vertical dual rear camera and round fingerprint sensor on the rear. In front of the phone there is a notch display like the iPhone X. In the screen notch there is a selfie camera and other sensors. The beels are thick in the phone. Xiaomi is not making much changes in the design of its smartphones compared to other companies.

In the handset, power button and volume rocker buttons are given on the right side. There is a sim card tray on the left side of smartphone. Good thing is that in Redmi 6 Pro, two SIMs and one MicroSD card slot have been given. The IR Blaster and 3.5mm audio jacks are provided in the phone while the micro USB charging ports and speakers are downwards. Overall, there is nothing new or extraordinary in the design of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro camera

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro has a dual camera setup with AI features which is equipped with 12 megapixel primary and 5 megapixel secondary camera. The smartphone has only been set up with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro in the phone. The camera has AI Portrait Mode and Electronic Image Stabilization. The device has a 5-megapixel AI self camera. Although the camera does not work very well.

We compare the camera of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro with the same price range from Honor 9N. We saw that the image is slow process in Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and there is also a shortage of sharpness in the pictures.

The Camera app is similar to other Xiaomi smartphones. The company has given many modes such as squares, manuals, panaromas. Photos that are captured in the light of daylight come shining and color reproduction is also pretty good. Electrical image stabilization is also an average. Slow image processing is the main problem of the Xiaomi redmi 6 pro camera.

This is the first time that we have seen such a problem in a Xiaomi smartphone. Earlier, Xiaomi did not see a complaint for slow image processing in any phone. Nose look in the pictures taken from the camera in low light. The pictures detection is better when HDR mode is turned on, but you need to stabilize your hands and take a pictures.
The front camera redmi 6 pro also gives good light in good light, but low light is frustrating. Overall, the camera of this smartphone is disappointing. If you want to buy a phone with a good camera, then Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is not for you.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro display

Like other existing smartphones in the market, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro also comes with 18: 9 aspect ratios. This smartphone has a 5.8-inch IPS LCD Full HD display with resolution of 1080x2280 pixels. The display is quite bright and there is no problem in using the smartphone even in sunlight.

Xiaomi has worked on their display in their new smartphones and we saw it in Redmi 6 Pro. Color reproduction is better in the phone. If you do not like the notch, then you have the option of hiding it. Like Xiaomi's other smartphones, it has been given a reading mode.

In addition to color reproduction, contrast layles are also good in the handset. Users can also adjust the white balance of the redimi 6 pro display. Viewing ângles are also fine and due to the larger display, gaming experiences are also good.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro performance

Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor has been given in Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro. With this processor, all the work in the smartphone is properly done. However, at times playing heavy fighting games such as Shadow Fight and PubG, we saw problems like hanging. So if you are thinking of buying gaming smart-phones, then Redmi 6 Pro is not for you.

The phone has 4 GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded through MicroSD card. The audio experience from the phone is fine.Sound coming from earphones is better than loudspeakers. There was no problem calling us.

Talking about the software, Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro runs on Android OS 8.1 operating system, on which the company has a MiUI 9-skin. At the launch, the company had announced that the device (Redmi 6 pro) will get the MiUI 10 update soon. Apps like Facebook, Amazon and phonepe are already installed in the phone.

Bad thing is that phone does not have the option to delete an already installed apps. MiUI is asclear and more stable as ever. There were no problems while running the app. The smartphone never hangs while multi-tasking and the multi-window feature also works, according to our hopes.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 pro Battery

To give power to the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, a battery of 4000 MAH has been given. The company claims that phone will get talk time of up to 48 hours on a single charge. However, during the review, we found that once a smartphone was charged with charging and all routine work for 1 day.

Decision (our opinion)

The price of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro starts from Rs 10,999. The smartphone offers all the features of a budget handset. Although Redmi 6 Pro is not a perfect package that can be advised to buy.Smartphones weight is also slightly higher and the camera is also average. This means thatyou can think about the other options available in the markets. Instead of Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, you can think of buying Honor 9N which comes in the same price. The design and performance of Honor 9N is much better.
